The Public Galleries are seated areas from which members of the public may watch the proceedings of either House. Galleries exist in the Commons and Lords chambers, committee rooms and for sittings in Westminster Hall.

Is the Strangers Gallery open?

The galleries are open to the public from Monday to Thursday (and some Fridays). Times differ throughout the week and for each House. Tickets are not required for general debates. Tickets are required for Prime Minister’s Questions and you can request tickets in advance for Ministerial Question Time.
