Is Art and Design IGCSE easy?

It’s very difficult, but you’ll have learned so much over the two years that you take the course and you’ll feel really proud of all your hard work. It’s a great basis for anyone who loves Art and hopes to take IB Art or pursue an artsy career in the future.

What do you learn in IGCSE Art and Design?

During your two years studying Art & Design at IGCSE level, you will learn a range of Fine Arts techniques, emphasising drawing, painting, photography & Photoshop, sculpture, textiles and printmaking. You will learn to develop your ideas and by learning from other artists and being inspired by the world around you.

Is IGCSE Art difficult?

I wouldn’t necessarily say it’s a tough subject, but it is most definitely not the easiest. If you want an outstanding grade, you’ll need to do work out of the classroom. Don’t just think “well I’ve done the classwork so that’s it” – do some extra painting or drawing outside of class!
