How long do you need at Monkey World?

The park is set in 65 acres of Dorset countryside, and your visit can be as active or laidback as you would like. We recommend at least 3-4 hours to spend at the park to enable you to see everything Monkey World has to offer.

Can I take a picnic to Monkey World?

Walking around the beautiful 65-acre park can work up quite an appetite- luckily, you can relax in one of our many picnic areas situated throughout the park. Enjoy your lunch in the stunning Dorset countryside, but if you’ve forgotten to pack a picnic, don’t panic!

Do you have to wear masks at Monkey World?

Monkey World’s policy is that everyone over the age of 3 must wear a mask, covering or visor/ shield when visiting the park. Our primates are at risk of contracting Covid- 19 and we must do everything in our power to protect them, and of course, our staff who are in close proximity with them.

Is Monkey World reopening?

We are pleased that we will be allowed to open our doors once more on the 12th April! Our primates are looking forward to seeing our supporters again! In order to make the park safe for our rescued primates, staff and of course our visitors, we have a number of measures in place: Limited numbers.

Is it worth going to Monkey World in the rain?

We visited this place in 2008 and I would just like to remind visitors that the monkeys dont like the rain any more than we do. If the car park was anything to go by people visit places like this when the weather doesn’t allow for the beach.

What should I wear to Monkey World?

Mask wearing. All visitors aged 3+ must wear a mask, visor or face covering whilst at the park at all times, except when seated in designated catering areas. Rule of 6. Visitors must abide by the rule of 6, or two households, whilst at the park.
