Adventure Island is a water park located northeast of Tampa, Florida, across the street from Busch Gardens Tampa Bay. The park features 30 acres (12 ha) of water rides, dining, and other attractions. The park opened on June 7, 1980, and is part of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment.

In September 2016 the park retained a top five status in the “Friendliest Park In The World” category at the annual Amusement Today Golden Ticket Awards. In September 2020, Adventure Island temporarily closed, following advice from Essex Police after a traveller encampment was set up in the nearby Kursaal car park.

Does Universal have a dress code?
Costumes are only permitted at certain times of the year and can always be denied by Universal Team Members at entry. Anything that covers the face such as a mask, veils or costumes that distort the facial features are not permitted. No weapons of any kind are allowed in the parks whether they are real or costume made.
