Candidates have to secure qualifying marks in both the papers of NTA UGC NET 2021 in order to get shortlisted for JRF or Assistant Professorship. The UGC NET qualifying marks for General category candidates is 40% in Paper I and II. While the qualifying marks for reserved category candidates is 35% in Paper I & II.
